I have plenty experience with other types of speculum but this one is one of the most difficult to use. The 4 arms flop so around so much that it is not easy keeping them in the original positions. Turning the nuts is also not so easy when you start to put real tension on the bars as you are stretching and especially if your hands are covered in lube.
